I am writing to you as a District 4 resident living in the (Fox Run / The Greens) sub division in the
Bloomingdale, bordered between Culbreath and Natures Way.
The condition of our residential streets are in terrible shape. Several years back the county applied a
gravel coating to the streets that has been completely eroded away due to traffic and time, showing the
condition of the original streets that are over 25 years old. The county has made several patches to the
streets only to have the patches wear away to expose the original issue. Some of the streets are buckled
and cracked. In particular, Timber Grove, North Ridge, and Eagle Bluff are of particular concern.
Although the county is proposing a Capital Improvement Plan that includes the maintenance of our
residential streets, the proposal has some of our streets listed as Priority 3. This could mean another 4
years before we see improvements to our neighborhood streets.
These roads may not last another 4 years. I implore you to please review the county Capital
Improvement Plan and increase the maintenance priority for Timber Grove, North Ridge, and Eagle Bluff so
that we may have safe and reliable streets.
I appreciate your attention to this matter.
